Who we are
Content Bride is a wedding content creation service run by [Gemma’s full name], trading as Content Bride, based in the North East of England. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Content Bride.
We are the data controller for the personal information we collect about you. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email us at [contact email].
This policy explains what we collect when you:
- visit contentbride.com
- enquire through our website, social media or a Facebook or Instagram lead form
- book us to film your wedding or event
- appear in content we film at a wedding or event
What we collect and why
We only collect what we need to reply to you, plan your day and deliver your content.
| What we collect | Why we use it | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, phone number | To reply to your enquiry and keep in touch about your booking | Legitimate interests (replying to your enquiry), then contract once you book |
| Wedding date, venue, package interest and anything you tell us about your plans | To check availability, quote and plan your shot list | Legitimate interests, then contract |
| Billing details and payment records | To take your deposit and balance and keep our accounts | Contract and legal obligation |
| Website usage data, such as pages visited, device and approximate location | To understand how people use the site and measure our adverts | Consent, through our cookie banner |
| Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or social media | To answer your questions | Legitimate interests |
When you enquire through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta passes us the details you submit. We may use automated tools to send you an immediate reply by email or WhatsApp. These only confirm we’ve received your enquiry; no decisions about you are made automatically.
We will never sell your information, and we only send marketing emails if you have opted in.
Wedding footage
The photos and videos we film at your wedding include you, your guests and your suppliers. We deliver them to you through a private Google Drive or Dropbox link.
With your permission, which we ask for when you book, we may also share some clips on Content Bride’s website and social media, and let your venue and suppliers reshare them. You can say no, or ask us to remove a clip at any time, and we’ll take it down from our own channels.
If you’re a guest and appear in a clip you’d like removed, contact us and we’ll take it down from our channels.
Who we share your information with
We use trusted services to run the business. They only process your information on our behalf:

We may also share information if the law requires it.

- Bookings and payment records: kept for 6 years after your event, as UK tax law requires.
- Raw footage: kept for [3] months after delivery, then deleted. Please download your files.
- Clips we’ve posted with your permission: kept until you ask us to remove them.
